2010 Jubilee Year

  print

2010 marks Instron Europe’s 50th year at the High Wycombe headquarters – half a century dedicated to pushing forward the boundaries of materials testing technology for, and with, our customers.

From its origins as a University spin-off company through to its present day position as the foundation company of the ITW Test and Measurement Group, Instron has always invested heavily in Research & Development to provide the very best testing solutions across a range of applications and market sectors.

Recent innovations include the groundbreaking ElectroPuls range of test systems which use patented linear motor technology to provide clean, quiet, environmentally friendly systems for both slow-speed static testing and high-frequency dynamic fatigue testing without the need for traditional servo-hydraulics http://www.instron.co.uk/wa/products/electrodynamic/electropuls/default.aspx

The latest addition to the Instron family is the Italian company CEAST, who offer a comprehensive range of testing and specimen preparation equipment for the plastics sector: from melt flow systems & rheometers, specimen cutters through to HDT VICAT systems, along with a host of other equipment specifically designed to meet the needs of the plastics industry/research sector http://www.ceast.com

We’d like to thank all our customers for a wonderful half century of co-operation and collaboration, and we’re looking forward to the next 50 years working with all our new and existing customers.
