MPX Impact Testers

Instron introduces the MPX Series of motorised pendulum impact testers that are ideal for testing metals to Charpy and Izod standards. Available in capacities from 300 to 900 J the MPX is safe, quick, and easy to operate.

• Motor-driven raising of hammer with auto-return after test for increased productivity and operator safety

• Electromagnetic brake/clutch control allows hammer to be safely dropped

• Conveniently located controls for efficient testing

• Dual latched hammer to avoid accidental release

• Safety enclosure with interlocks prevents the hammer from dropping and stops movement when any door is open

• Anvil inserts and strikers available for complete range of international standards testing, as well as custom applications

• Adjustable latch height for lower pendulum energy/velocity
