The 8802 and 8803 higher capacity fatigue testers feature precision-aligned, high-stiffness load frames that encompass a broad range of static and dynamic test applications from basic metals to larger scale component testing. Typical applications of these servohydraulic machines include fracture mechanics, reinforcing bars, aerospace panels, wire ropes, civil engineering components or structures, small sized concrete, and rock mechanics.
The dynamic test systems have a twin-column frame construction with hydraulic lifts and locks, and can feature the actuator in either the lower table or the upper crosshead. The precision mechanical systems combined with the advanced features of the 8800 digital controller and Dynacell™ load cells, enable Instron to supply fully integrated turnkey solutions to meet the most demanding applications. Console software provides full system control from a PC, including waveform generation, calibration, limit set up, and status monitoring. Add WaveMatrix™ block loading software for simple and advanced cyclic tests on materials or components, or Bluehill® 2 Software for static tests.
