Instron® Calibration Services
Instron verification and calibration services are the convenient, economical, and
no risk way to ensure that your testing meets
ASTM and
ISO/IEC requirements. Our wide range of capability allows us to calibrate
or verify most materials testing systems found in the lab or on the production floor.
Our field specialists will verify and calibrate all Instron material test systems,
including SATEC™ Series
high capacity equipment and Wilson®
Instruments— Wolpert™ hardness and Rockwell®
testers. Dynatup® tup calibration
and Shore®
durometer calibration are performed at the Instron factory. In addition to the Instron
family of products, our technical field engineers will verify and certify other
brands of testing equipment that are used in your facility. Our range of capabilities,
experience, and low measurement uncertainties are unmatched in the industry.

Certification to Highest Standards and Traceability
All working standards used in our verification process are directly traceable to
the National Institute of Standards and Technology
(NIST). All procedures meet or exceed
ASTM standards. Certification is also provided for each transducer together
with a report showing the actual verification results for each point taken with
related traceability information.
A Legal and Competitive Consideration
In today's world, conformance to standards is serious business. Your customers
and the courts can hold you responsible for the integrity of your test data. This
is why every test system, no matter how old or new, should be routinely verified
for conformance to applicable national and international standards.
Protect Your Investment
As good as your Instron equipment is, performance can change over time. Whether
it is your customer's or your own policy, periodic field verification confirms
accuracy and repeatability and informs you of any required repairs or adjustments.
