Instron’s North American Laboratories are accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) and the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA). Our NVLAP accreditation covers the factory and field calibrations in North America, China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, India, Thailand and Taiwan operations and our A2LA accreditation covers CEAST product calibrations in North America.

Instron's calibration laboratories are the focal point for all calibration and verification activities worldwide. The Norwood laboratory provides accredited calibrations in support of Force, Hardness, Shore and Dynatup products. Tha laboratory is accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), a program administered by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), designated as Lab Code 200301-0. All standards used in the performance of calibrations are directly traceable to NIST.
Certification to Highest Standards and Traceability
All working standards used in our verification process are directly traceable to the SI through the National Institute of Standards and Technology (
NIST). All procedures meet or exceed
ASTM standards.
Certification is also provided for each transducer together with a report showing the actual verification results for each point taken with related traceability information.
