Compression Testing of High Strength Concrete (ACI 363.2R-98)

The American Concrete Institute (ACI 363.2R-98) standard specifies the quality control and testing needed to reliably measure high strength concrete. The test involves compressing high strength concrete to failure for determining one or more mechanical properties.

For compression testing of high strength concrete in accordance with ACI 363.2R-98 we recommend using our RD Series compression testing machines with Partner™ Software. Suitable specimen compression platens are included with the system.

Our RD systems are high performance, high stiffness load frames which utilize Instron I-Series Controller Electronics. The high stiffness frames help to ensure accurate and reliable results while providing a durable long lasting system. The I-Series controller allows for multi-channel high data rate data acquisition which provides superior analysis of specimen properties.
