All calibration activities for Europe, Middle East, and African regions are coordinated from the Instron® European Center of Excellence based in the UK. Instron undertakes calibrations at its permanent laboratory in the UK, as well as providing on-site calibration services across Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions using 80+ locally-based Instron trained calibration staff.
Professional calibration services help to reduce both your costs and your exposure to risk. Instron has a wide range of calibration procedures to meet many of the materials testing ISO and ASTM standards. Our calibrations satisfy the following:ISO/IEC 17025 | QS 9000 | ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 | ISO 10012-1 | ISO/TS 16949 | NADCAP
We have experience calibrating a variety of materials testing systems from numerous manufactures, allowing us to provide you with a single contact for your materials testing calibration requirements.

Certification to Highest Standards and Traceability
All Instron reference equipment (calibration devices) used to carry out our verification activities are directly traceable to the recognised national standards, and to units of measurement realised at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in the UK, the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in the USA, or other internationally recognised National Measurement Institutions (NMIs). All procedures where specified meet or exceed relevant ISO or ASTM standards. Certification is also provided for each transducer providing a comprehensive calibration certificate reporting linearity, repeatability and uncertainty data at each point taken throughout the process.
Calibration certificates are issued by our calibration laboratory in a digitally encrypted format. This provides our customers with the versatility of storage, the retrieval and reproduction of this important documentation, and the knowledge that it is safe from unauthorized change. In many cases, the calibration certificates can also be made available in Spanish, French, German, and Italian.
Protect Your Investment
We are aware that the performance of any testing equipment can change over a period of time. Whether it is your customer's needs or your own internal standards, having your materials testing system regularly serviced and calibrated by one of our trained field service engineers, will provide you with the confidence that the results that you are obtaining are accurate and repeatable.
