Working at Instron
I work in the Dynamic Systems Business Team and specialise in supporting our Sales Engineers when selling accessories for Fatigue Testing Machines.
I spend most of my day providing technical expertise for the Sales Engineer while also managing the orders that we receive to ensure the customer gets what they really need.
What does your role involve?
My role also includes marketing activities for our dynamic accessories including management of content on all our media including the website and catalogues.
Working in the Business Team brings me into contact with people from across the company from sales and service to manufacturing and planning. It’s an excellent vantage point to see how the company works as a whole.
How did you become a Sales Support Engineer?
I joined Instron as part of their Graduate Scheme in 2013. After spending two years working on various projects throughout the company I was then offered a permanent position.
